From 1988 through 1999, Rosko's students have won no less than 17 Scholastic Art Awards gold key medals, 23 silver key metals and had one piece sent to the national level of competition. My students have won top honors at the New York State Media Arts Competition (2001) and the Rod Serling Video Festival (2001). These students have won 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place honors in the 2000 PTA Reflections program, a clean sweep in 2001 and 1st and 3rd place in 2003, with one student moving to the state level of competition. Most recently, his students' artwork has been requested by Columbia University to be used in one of their online seminar courses. |
